The main focus of my research is in the Mobile Sensor Networks, and specifically:
- Energy-Efficient Routing Protocols and Propagation Algorithms
- Distributed Localization
- Events Detection & Tracking
- Pathfinding
- Distributed Exploration and Mapping of Unknown Environments
- Distributed Databases

I obtained my MSc degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Bologna, Italy, in December 2005. The subject of my master thesis was "Distributed queries on heterogeneous collections of multimedia data". I obtained my BSc degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Bologna, Italy, in October 2003. The subject of my bachelor thesis was "Development of an xml-based graphic framework for Microsoft .Net environment". During my master degree I worked 2 years as teaching assistant for the Database course. During both bachelor and master degrees I worked as consultant for Di.Co. srl, an Italian company specialized in digital printing systems.
