Opportunity Research Assistant on DIAAC Project Grade 7 The Computing Laboratory has a vacancy for a one year research position as part of a BBSRC-funded project that aims to develop technologies for 3D histologically-detailed reconstructions of individual whole heart. This investigation is conducted jointly by the Department of Physiology, Anatomy & Genetics, the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, and the Computing Laboratory (where the post will be administratively based) at the University of Oxford.

Opportunity One Year Research Assistant Post Grade 7 on UbiVal Project Oxford University Computing Laboratory (OUCL) has been awarded an EPSRC grant UbiVal (http://www.comlab.ox.ac.uk/projects/ubival/) to work on validation and verification for ubiquitous computing applications. The project is led by Professor Marta Kwiatkowska at the Oxford University Computing Laboratory and contributes to the activities of the Quantitative Analysis and Verification group. The aims of the project are to develop the foundations and software technology for the automatic verification of context-aware systems, such as those that vary their response depending on location.
