My current research interests include model-driven development and information modelling, model checking for web services, service-oriented Grid computing, service computing, and eScience technologies and applications.
I am a Research Officer at the Oxford University Computing Laboratory (OUCL), Oxford, UK. I graduated with B.Sc.degree in computer science from the Xidian University (China) in 1988, received M.Eng. and Ph.D. in computer science and engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology (China) in 1996 and 1999 respectively. Prior to joining OUCL in 2007, I was a Research Fellow in the School of Computer Science at the University of Birmingham (UK) in 2006. Before that, I was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow from 2002 to 2003, and then a Research Engineer in the following 2 years at the Institute of High Performance Computing (Singapore). I served as a Senior Software Engineer and a Project Manager in China Construction Bank (China) from 1999 to 2002. I also served Daqing Oilfield Construction Design and Research Institute (China) during 1988 to 1993.
