interests

The trade-off between usability and security is an acknowledged factor in the development of software systems. Yet, there has been little research into how to deal with these specific concerns within the problem space.

My work involves determining factors relating to the cultural and socio-technical environment which impact security and investigating how these can be applied to secure systems and security design, in particular to risk analysis.

biography

I am a doctoral student at the Oxford University Computing Laboratory and a member of Wolfson College. Before this, I was a software engineer within LogicaCMG's Space business.
