THE QUANTUM THEORY OF INFORMATION AND COMPUTATION

THE QUANTUM THEORY OF INFORMATION AND COMPUTATION

Weeks 3-8, Trinity Term 2010, http://www.comlab.ox.ac.uk/activities/quantum/course/

Thanks to Martin Aulbach and Dieter Jaksch for providing excellent problems!

Problem Sheets

The problem sheets for this course will be made available as PDF and LaTeX files at the beginning of each week. To read and print the PDFs you will need to have installed Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded free of charge.

Due to the wide range of backgrounds, please try to solve Sheet 0 by the end of the first week of lectures.  If any part is not clear, or if your background is limited in one of the areas, consult us.

There will be 4 problem sheets which will be solved in the weekly tutorials.

Classes

The classes will be organised as follows:

Each class will cover the work for the previous week's sheet. Solutions should be (i) stapled, (ii) clearly marked "To: Shane Mansfield" and (iii) handed into comlab reception by the deadline.
